What does a Listing/Seller's Agent do for me?


If you are selling real estate, you will want to “list” your property for sale with a real estate firm. When you do, you will sign a “listing agreement” authorizing the firm and its agents to represent you in your dealings with buyers as your Seller's Agent. You may also be asked to allow agents from other firms to help find a buyer for your property. Before you sign the listing agreement, you should avoid telling the listing agent anything you would NOT want a Buyer to know. Allow me to put a marketing plan together to list and sell your home.

What does a Buyer's Agent do for me?


In 1983, a Federal Trade Commission study revealed tht over 72% of all home buyers mistakenly believed they were being represented by the agent showing them homes. As a result, most states have passed laws requiring agents to disclose whom they represent. Today, Buying Consumers want an agent who will ALWAYS be “on their side.“ Before you sign a Buyer's Agency agreement, you should avoid telling the agent anything you would NOT want a Seller to know.
